Multi-instrumentalist performer, Jonathan has built a solid musical career in Quebec during the last 15 years.
He has completed his studies in guitar & composition at accredited musical academies such as the Cegep de St-Laurent & UQAM. He started as a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist in musical groups (Les Hommes Rouges, Isabelle et les Rats, Los Entonces, Echoes of Avalon).
His musical talents brought him to work on several contemporary dance and literature shows (Rhizomes, Planète Rebelle, Ma Soeur Alice, Migration). He improved his skills studying film music composition and wrote music for short films (Byblos, Mal de Chien , Épouvantable Épouvantail).
During trips to Greece, Italy and France, he discovered and dedicated his study of the neapolitan mandolin. He continues to improve his knowledge, musical and technical skills by regularly attending international workshops. O
ver the years Jonathan has become a talented and respected mandolin specialist. He has regular students, works as soloist (NEM, McGill Contemporary Ensemble) and has risen to the challenge as a dedicated orchestral conductor and musical arranger.
