Choro Das Tres is a Brazilian instrumental group that consists of three sisters ,and their father:
- Corina on the flutes,
- Lia on the 7-strings guitar
- Elisa on the mandolim, clarinet, banjo and piano
- their father Eduardo on tamborine
The band plays Brazilian Instrumental Music, and their main style is Choro music, an instrumental music genre that emerged in Brazil on the 19th century.
Choro Das Tres has performed in concerts and workshops all over Brazil, USA, Mexico and France.
Elisa, the mandolin (or more precisely mandolim) player is just excellent, a true joy to watch her playing.
The band is now touring the US.
