Here is something you will love. A live performance of one of the most famous Vivaldi works, by one of the most famous mandolin players together with a world-famous chamber orchestra. Are you ready?

Mandolin virtuoso player Avi Avital performs ‘Summer’ from Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons with the Venice Baroque Orchestra, in the evocative setting of Venice itself. Filmed exclusively for Sinfini Music and in conjunction with his new album release, Avi reimagines the heady, electric sounds of the Italian summer on the mandolin, in this vivid homage to one of the Baroque’s best-loved composers.

Note the positioning of the instruments. The mandolin is seated together with the bass instruments (cello, double bass) and not with the violins. An excellent choice to let the mandolin breathe and be listened.
