Hi there, Christos Rizos here with new articles I think you should not miss!

This week's focus is on Luca Turchet, a mandolinist and academic researcher from Italy that  is doing some amazing research work. Luca is designing a new novel mandolin design that is augmented with wireless connectivity and sensors. He calls this "Smart Mandolin"! You can read in the new articles (links below) all about Luca and see some of his mandolin prototypes in action.

If you happen to be located in London,  you can participate in a live testing of his new prototype! Details here.

Also this week, I introduce you to Plektra, a very interesting ensemble from Australia that is performing a combination of contemporary and classical mandolin works.

Cheers, thanks again, and I'll see you on the inside!
