Hi reader
These last two weeks have been creative, with a lot of work being done "under the hood", to begin the transformation of theMandolinTuner from a blog that I only write content for, to a mandolin online resource that anyone that loves the mandolin can participate and contribute content. The transformation will not happen overnight, but you will see gradual changes towards this goal. Besides this important work, I also added during these two weeks some interesting new videos, together with a diary of the latest concert of Mandolinarte, which I think you will enjoy reading.
So, here is what happened in theMandolinTuner blog during the two weeks ending at 15th of March:
...theMandolinTuner has now a new section for Performers. It includes the Performers Database and the Orchestras database, together with the Events & Concerts Calendar and the Artists Breaking News pages that used to be grouped differently. It also includes two new pages: the Video Library that lists all Videos in theMandolinTuner and also a Get Listed page that allows performers to get listed in theMandolinTuner databases.
...a very nice video of Avi Avital playing the Prelude from Bach's Cello Suite 1 has been added in the video library. You should check it out and start considering learning to play it as well. A must for any mandolin enthusiast to my opinion.
...another official video performance of Avi Aviatl has been added in the Video library. This one is Summer from Vivaldi's Four Seasons and it is a live performance at Venice with the Venice Chamber Orchestra. Worth watching!
...three articles that consist a diary of the latest concert of Mandolinarte at Chania, Kreta have been added. The articles describe how the concert was organised and promoted, our trip to Kreta and why playing at concerts is so much fun.
So, here are links to new info in the blog for this week:.
