Hi reader

Here is what happened in theMandolinTuner blog during the week ending at 20th of February:

...Marissa Carroll, a mandolin artist from Australia has been added in the mandolin artists database. Marissa began playing the mandolin in 2002 at the age of ten, and progressed rapidly on the instrument while playing with the Mandolins in Brisbane ensemble.

...a mandolin duet with Marissa Carroll and Alison Stephens, playing Jean Marie LeClair Violin Sonata has been added in the video performances. Although not reordered during a concert, this is definitely worth watching.

...sweet music, performed sensitively with the very nice Lyon and Healey mandolin that Marissa is fortunate to own is also added. It is music from Johann Nepomuk Hummel.

...a very nice Bach performance from Marissa with tone that is sweet and bright (Lyon and Healey) and good timing. It is a live performance and brings that sweet and subtle “excitement” to the sound of the music played.

So, here are links to new info and products in the blog for this week:.
