I am sending this newsletter not during the weekend as I always do, as I was travelling to the beautiful island of Creta to give a concert. ...NAME, the New Mandolin American Ensemble has been added in the mandolin orchestras database. This is a very interesting orchestra directed by Mark Davis, a forward looking musician, fascinated with modern forms of musical expression.
...some excellent performances from NAME were added, including compositions from Emiel Stoepler, Annette Kruisbrink and Chris Aquavella.
