Happy New Year! 2015 is here, and it is time for resolutions. Here are mine:
... complete my latest unfinished recording project, Libermando. I have defined a list of about 15 songs to record with guitar and mandolin and I am very excited!
...complete my first online mandolin course for beginners I have been working on since September but never dedicated enough time to realize it. It is about time!
...add at least 50 more artists in the Mandolin Tuner artists database from around the world.
...start a mandolin builders database with detailed information about builders around the world.
...create a dedicated section about mandolin in Greece, so much to add!
...find ways that will encourage other mandolinists participate in the Mandolin Tuner. I already have some ideas, but I need to think more!
...start a kickstarter project that will allow me to help digitize the ~1000 handwritten scores of traditional Greek mandolin music of the Fotis Aleporos mandolin orchestra - the orchestra I performed with for around 35 years, so the Greek music can be played and enjoyed around the world.
I know all these seem too difficult to realise, but I like to have a big plans as they inspire me, and I think you should too!
